2 Corinthians 5:14-15
For Christ’s love compels us, because we are convinced that one died for all, and therefore all died. And he died for all, that those who live should no longer live for themselves but for him who died for them and was raised again.Do you think that God would have us relieve someone’s hunger but not show them how to be saved from the fires of hell? Is it enough to give a drink of water or clothe someone without ever taking the opportunity to present the gospel? Of course not. If the love of Christ compels us to provide for people’s earthly needs, how much more will His love cause us to show them the way to forgiveness and eternal life—their greatest need?
