My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.There is nothing joyful about trials, in and of themselves. There is no value in suffering for its own sake. God uses both trials and suffering to test our faith, so that we may learn to patiently endure.
